Hi all,

Having a lot of issues with POCS. I’ve installed it a couple times, and even did a fresh install of the OS. Cannot get POCS to start up, any help or pointers would be appreciated. I was able to do the .yaml steps but nothing else after that. The issue seems to be that the ‘bin’ folder destination does not exists in the POCS folder (and outside of it the ‘bin’ folder has nothing in it besides something for arduino). Are there missing files? Are the paths incorrect? This is all the same errors with reinstalling, fresh wipes, and two different Pi’s. Likely, there is something I am just not understanding.

Thanks for the help!

This should be fixed now although I think the cleanest would be to do a fresh install. For the record, one of the dependencies got updated and that isn’t yet working on the Raspberry Pi.

wtgee I just did a fresh install of the OS and POCS and am having the same issues still.

GavinMoriarty You don’t need the bin or need to be in a specific folder, not sure if that is what you are typing. Does a whereis pocs return anything?

Also, what is the output from echo $PATH?

Sorry, I just confirmed something (different) is wrong. Checking now.

Hm. I did the same process over again and this time it did work.

@GavinMoriarty if you do this again and it doesn’t work can you email me the ~/install-pocs.log file? Thanks!
